What a nice welcome to the Carmel Valley community! I attended the grand opening event back in February and had a great time meeting the staff and checking out the goodies for sale at this pretty pharmacy. For the record, I don’t plan on getting my prescriptions filled here since my health insurance through Kaiser doesn’t allow it . No big deal, but I love, love, love the merchandise they sell at CV Pharmacy since they sell so many cute things that I like and all under one roof.
This is hands down the best pharmacy I have been to in San Diego. It reminds me of the country pharmacy that I would go to when growing up. I take a drug that is quite rare and therefore you may have to wait a day for them to get it in for your initial prescription, however after that they will likely have it in stock for you when your prescription needs re-filling. That has certainly been my experience. When you go in to fill a normal prescription your wait will only be 10 minutes. Nothing like CVS making you wait an hour.
